- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted, independent LCSW license from a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education accredited school.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Experience performing bio-psychosocial evaluations and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Experience supporting overnight shifts between 6:30 PM EST and 10:30 AM EST.
- Ability to obtain and maintain American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide brief, evidence-based virtual counseling for individuals and groups with low-to-moderate-acuity mental health needs.
- Develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans supporting restoration and clinical progress.
- Identify symptoms and establish diagnoses using the current DSM.
- Perform case formulation, treatment recommendations, and clinical communication.
- Complete readiness-related evaluations including hospitalizations, duty-status assessments, and Medical Evaluation Board support.
- Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain timely electronic medical record documentation in MHS Genesis.
