Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, consulting, or sales within infrastructure, utilities, technology, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving growth in competitive, high-stakes environments.
- Strong understanding of PMO services, including project, program, and portfolio management frameworks and tools.
- Demonstrated success in developing winning proposals (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and securing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and executive influence skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with experience in market analysis and opportunity identification.
- High adaptability with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the United States (75–100%).
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end business development initiatives by identifying, pursuing, and securing new PMO opportunities across target industries including infrastructure, utilities, and technology sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with leadership to expand PMO service offerings and ensure sustainable, profitable revenue generation.
- Act as the primary client-facing representative for PMO capabilities, presenting solutions, building executive relationships, and positioning value propositions to senior stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development efforts including RFI, RFQ, RFP responses, cost estimation, competitive analysis, and business case creation to support new business wins.
- Analyze market trends and industry dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and maintain competitive positioning within priority sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders through networking events, conferences, and direct engagement.
- Collaborate closely with PMO leadership and delivery teams to align client requirements with service execution models and ensure successful outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, repeatable business development strategies that support long-term organizational growth and market expansion.
