Requirements
- 1+ years of specialty underwriting experience in Executive Risks (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Professional designations such as CIC and CPCU (preferred).
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven success managing tight time frames.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work.
- Experience with direct agency relationships.
Responsibilities
- Examine, identify, and evaluate management liability exposures for private and nonprofit organizations.
- Make underwriting decisions on accepting, declining, or modifying risks within authority levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and business partners.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
- Serve as the point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate profitable business growth.
- Identify opportunities for new business production and cross-selling.
- Maintain underwriting and customer service standards.
- Process business efficiently using underwriting systems.
