Requirements
- 5+ years experience in title, escrow, settlement, or residential resale closing
- 2+ years experience managing a team
- Hands-on expertise across the full closing lifecycle from title through disbursement
- Strong knowledge of Federal and multi-state compliance including RESPA, TRID, CFPB, and BSA/AML
- Proficiency in Qualia
- Analytical skills with experience in spreadsheets and BI dashboards
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, lenders, agents, and underwriters
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, remote, multi-state environment
Responsibilities
- Directly manage 6–10 closers, escrow officers, and processors across hiring, onboarding, coaching, and career development
- Run consistent 1:1s, huddles, and performance reviews
- Own team KPIs including cycle time, on-time-to-close, fall-through rate, and CSAT
- Conduct routine file audits across title commitments, CDs, escrow ledgers, and wire instructions
- Ensure all files meet Federal and state-specific requirements including RESPA, TRID, CFPB, and BSA/AML
- Maintain alignment with underwriter requirements and ALTA Best Practices
- Identify workflow friction and partner with Ops and Product to improve playbooks, templates, and tooling
- Work closely with Agent Network and Customer Success to keep handoffs clean
