Requirements
- Java experience (academic, personal, or commercial)
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Knowledge of backend development (REST APIs, HTTP, SQL)
- Ability to read and work with existing codebases
- Strong English language proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong Polish language proficiency (working-level)
- Self-organization and proactive communication skills
- Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and build tools (Maven or Gradle)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems primarily in Java, working with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases.
- Navigate and contribute to multiple codebases.
- Occasionally take on shorter assignments outside the Java stack (Node.js, Python).
- Collaborate with a small team and communicate progress proactively.
- Use AI tools effectively as part of the development workflow.
- Manage delivery pipelines including CI/CD and Docker.
- Participate in agile processes with short iterations.
