Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development with JavaScript.
- Significant senior-level experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- 8+ years of experience in Node.js and React.
- Deep experience in serverless environments like Cloud Functions or AWS Lambda.
- 5+ years of experience working with NoSQL data architecture, specifically Firebase Realtime Database.
- Hands-on experience with observability stacks including Datadog, Sentry, and GCP Cloud Logging.
- 5+ years writing clean code with clear, instructional documentation.
- Ability to provide high-quality code reviews.
- Proactive attitude toward learning new tools and improving team efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Drive production bugs to zero by prioritizing customer experience and trust.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement durable, systemic fixes.
- Expand automated test coverage including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Maintain and improve observability using Datadog, Sentry, and GCP Cloud Logs.
- Design dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for production monitoring.
- Ensure safe, rapid updates with minimal review and clear rollback paths.
- Prioritize reliability, performance, and resiliency enhancements.
- Stabilize third-party integrations with Stripe, TransUnion, and Zillow.
