Requirements
- At least six years of campaign and electoral experience.
- Experience managing a congressional race and/or statewide Senate or Gubernatorial Race.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think on one’s feet.
- Commitment and passion to elect Democratic pro-choice women.
- Commitment to the diversity of candidates, membership, partners, and staff.
- Willingness to travel including occasional nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain political relationships to identify and recruit strong Democratic pro-choice women to run in competitive races.
- Work directly with campaigns to build professional campaign teams and recruit effective managers.
- Advise campaigns on developing and maintaining budgets and strategic plans.
- Review and understand ad buys and paid communication plans.
- Establish high-quality campaign structures for field, research, communications, digital, and fundraising.
- Communicate needs and goals of the EMILYs List endorsement process to candidates.
- Monitor and report out routinely on progress of campaigns.
- Assist with the EMILYs List training programs.
