Requirements
- Strong portfolio showing process and iteration, ideally including AI/ML products.
- Experience designing for multi-step, agentic, or automated AI workflows.
- High bar for interaction and visual design craft.
- Proven ability to conduct research and translate findings into design decisions.
- Experience working iteratively in agile product development.
- Experience designing in complex enterprise contexts.
- Working knowledge of Git, HTML, CSS, and accessibility best practices.
- Ability to contribute to and work with design systems.
- Excellent communication skills for simplifying complexity and articulating rationale.
Responsibilities
- Own the design process end-to-end from early exploration to shipped experiences.
- Design intuitive interfaces for AI agents and chat experiences.
- Break complex AI experiences into releases that fit product cadence.
- Set quality standards through strong visual and interaction design.
- Define strategic direction using journey maps, storyboards, and design explorations.
- Contribute AI-specific patterns to the Pajamas Design System.
- Mentor other designers and participate in hiring processes.
