Requirements
- 6+ years of experience designing web products end-to-end.
- Strong information architecture and interaction design capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear flows and navigation models from ambiguous requirements.
- Experience conducting user discovery and stakeholder interviews.
- Proven experience building or contributing to a design system.
- Fluency in Figma or comparable tools for producing engineer-ready artifacts.
- Comfort working in small-team dynamics with limited design infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for education and social impact.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user flows, navigation, and information architecture across the platform.
- Document designs as wireframes and specifications for engineering implementation.
- Own and maintain the company's design system.
- Conduct lightweight product discovery with students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Partner with product managers to define initiatives and with engineers to resolve design implementation questions.
- Direct a UI design contractor to execute on specific design tasks.
- Establish and maintain experience quality standards across the product.
