Requirements

  • Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams, ideally in Italy.
  • Ability to design and execute a country go-to-market plan.
  • Proven experience with pipeline generation discipline and deal execution.
  • Familiarity with B2B software or technology sales.
  • Understanding of open source or DevSecOps concepts.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Ability to balance hands-on field work with strategic leadership.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate as a self-directed manager in an all-remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Italian sales presence including the country plan and pipeline generation.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives.
  • Drive new logo acquisition across medium-sized businesses and engage larger accounts.
  • Partner with marketing and local networks to increase market awareness.
  • Establish operating rhythms, sales processes, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Build relationships with CXO and program level executive accounts.
  • Analyze pipeline and forecast performance data to identify gaps and opportunities.
