Requirements
- Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams, ideally in Italy.
- Ability to design and execute a country go-to-market plan.
- Proven experience with pipeline generation discipline and deal execution.
- Familiarity with B2B software or technology sales.
- Understanding of open source or DevSecOps concepts.
- Experience with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Ability to balance hands-on field work with strategic leadership.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to operate as a self-directed manager in an all-remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Italian sales presence including the country plan and pipeline generation.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives.
- Drive new logo acquisition across medium-sized businesses and engage larger accounts.
- Partner with marketing and local networks to increase market awareness.
- Establish operating rhythms, sales processes, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Build relationships with CXO and program level executive accounts.
- Analyze pipeline and forecast performance data to identify gaps and opportunities.
