Requirements

  • Technical proficiency with navigating production databases using SQL
  • Comfort using custom tools to investigate and resolve issues
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users and engineers
  • Experience in support engineering, software engineering, or data engineering
  • Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Linear, HelpScout, or Notion
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must include an updated resume and a 1-2 minute Loom video demonstrating a technical problem resolution

Responsibilities

  • Monitor support channels and triage incoming issues following established runbooks
  • Serve as the first technical responder with a target resolution time under 30 minutes for critical issues
  • Navigate production databases and run command-line scripts to diagnose issues
  • Resolve user-facing blockers independently when tools and runbooks support it
  • Translate user pain points into clear, concise technical bug reports for engineers
  • Facilitate and troubleshoot user onboarding and credentialing workflows
  • Track all active tasks and maintain/improve runbooks for triaging and troubleshooting
