Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), procurement, accounts payable automation, or related finance operations within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Prior experience in a solutions consulting, pre-sales, product specialist, or sales overlay role supporting complex enterprise deals.
  • Deep understanding of procurement and finance workflows, including requisitioning, purchase orders, approvals, invoicing, and payments.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear, compelling business value narratives.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across both technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or Workday, and tools like Salesforce or Asana is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Procure-to-Pay (P2P) subject matter expert across enterprise sales cycles, supporting AEs and solutions consultants in discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations.
  • Lead deep-dive walkthroughs of P2P workflows including intake, procurement, invoicing, payments, and virtual card solutions, aligning capabilities to customer needs.
  • Influence and support strategic enterprise deals by providing trusted advisory input during evaluation and procurement decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with product and solutions teams to align roadmap capabilities with market needs and develop compelling enterprise value narratives.
  • Support and enhance sales enablement by training AEs, SCs, and CSMs on P2P workflows, use cases, positioning, and best practices.
  • Partner with marketing to develop case studies, content, ROI tools, and improved RFP responses that communicate platform value effectively.
  • Participate in pipeline, forecast, and deal strategy reviews to prioritize high-impact opportunities and improve win rates.
  • Assist in managing critical customer escalations and support account teams in identifying upsell opportunities across P2P, payments, and virtual card offerings.
  • Contribute to refining the ideal customer profile (ICP), sales playbooks, and expansion strategies as the business scales.
