Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, IT, Data, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with EDI data formats such as 834, CSV, and structured data transformations.
- Familiarity with API integrations (REST, HTTP, Web APIs) and system-to-system data exchanges.
- Experience with benefit administration or HR platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, Employee Navigator, Paylocity, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify and resolve workflow gaps.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in insurance or benefits administration environments is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve internal workflows and procedures related to EDI and data exchange functions.
- Support day-to-day operations for EDI Business Process Analysts, ensuring timely resolution of issues and requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data, integration, and system issues across internal platforms and third-party administrators.
- Coordinate validation of requirements and implementation strategies for EDI/API connections, including eligibility and enrollment processes.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with structured data formats such as 834 files, CSV, and API-based data exchanges (REST, HTTP, Web APIs).
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding data connections, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Monitor system issues, report problems, and contribute to continuous improvement of data exchange processes.
