Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in Oracle Utilities solutions with a strong focus on Work and Asset Management systems, including at least two full-cycle WAM/WACS implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle WAM/WACS or similar Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management products.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Proven experience delivering full lifecycle implementation or upgrade projects (minimum 2 end-to-end cycles).
  • Strong consulting background with utility industry clients and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience integrating Oracle WACS with Oracle Field Service (OFS), GIS systems, and related enterprise tools.
  • Strong ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to decompose complex issues into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Oracle WAM/WACS solutions across large-scale utility transformation programs.
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle WAM/WACS implementation and upgrade projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment support.
  • Design and manage solutions across asset management domains such as asset registry, maintenance, inspections, work management, materials management, and GIS integration.
  • Integrate Oracle WACS with Oracle Field Service (OFS), GIS platforms, and other Oracle Utilities applications.
  • Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions with client stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Collaborate with utility clients to translate business needs into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
  • Define and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to optimize operational performance.
  • Provide technical leadership using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and related tools.
  • Ensure solution alignment with industry best practices and utility sector standards.
  • Support project delivery teams and guide both onshore and offshore resources throughout the engagement lifecycle.
