Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 8–12+ years of enterprise sales experience
- 3–5+ years focused on cybersecurity solutions
- Proven experience selling into State, Local Government, or Education (SLED) environments preferred
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, competitive positioning, and market trends
- Demonstrated success in complex, consultative, and solution-based sales cycles
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including executive-level decision makers
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
- Strong CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and results-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Develop, drive, and manage a robust cybersecurity sales pipeline across SLED accounts
- Identify, qualify, and close complex security opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, including engagement with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with account managers to position cybersecurity solutions effectively within strategic pursuits
- Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity and market dynamics within assigned accounts
- Leverage consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and align appropriate security solutions
- Partner with internal teams and external ecosystem partners to execute coordinated sales strategies
- Support lead generation and ensure effective pipeline management through structured sales processes
- Contribute to forecasting accuracy and ensure disciplined sales execution across opportunities
