Requirements

  • Proven experience in Australian construction
  • 3–5+ years Contracts Administration experience
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (residential and/or commercial)
  • Strong understanding of variations, progress claims, and cost tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial tracking)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of Australian construction compliance and documentation standards

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and manage building contracts, variations, and subcontractor agreements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with Australian construction standards
  • Track contract values, variations, and cost changes
  • Monitor progress claims and payments
  • Maintain and update detailed Excel trackers for project costs and budgets
  • Generate reports to support project and financial decision-making
  • Coordinate with Estimators, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors
  • Monitor contract milestones and ensure deadlines are met
