- Expertise in ads marketplace, auctioning/bidding, creative evaluation, or measurement at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
- Experience with statistical analysis, economic modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of experimental design, causal inference, and A/B testing.
- Proven experience influencing large organizations on technical direction and ML best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and long-term evolution of core Ads Data Science solutions and infrastructure.
- Identify fundamental gaps in platform, auction, targeting, and relevance models.
- Develop advanced predictive and causal frameworks.
- Establish scientific standards for statistical modeling, economic analysis, and A/B experimentation.
- Act as domain authority for cross-functional teams.
- Influence the design of core business and performance metrics.
- Mentor senior data scientists and technical peers.
