Responsibilities
- Investigate fraud at scale by reviewing and triaging rejected and flagged identity verifications.
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into suspicious individuals, patterns, and networks.
- Build and document cases to a standard that holds up under scrutiny.
- Identify new and evolving fraud techniques, including synthetic identities, document forgery, deepfakes, and coordinated ring activity.
- Track fraud trends and maintain awareness of the broader threat landscape.
- Package evidence and coordinate with prosecutors, regulators, and law enforcement.
- Serve as the company's liaison to the investigative and legal community.
- Translate investigations into structured findings for product and engineering teams to act on.
