  • 5+ years of Event Industry experience, preferably agency-side.
  • Proven track record of building a book of business from the ground up.
  • History of managing $10M+ in lifetime event revenue.
  • Established, high-level relationships within Pharma, FinServ, Tech, and Consulting sectors.
  • Strategic acumen to map client business goals to technical production reality.
  • Strong grit and initiative to perform in a pure business development role.
  • Ability to navigate complex decision-making hierarchies.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively expand event production footprint within Fortune 5000 companies.
  • Target and secure $1M+ opportunities with brands that have multiple events throughout the year.
  • Build pipeline through strategic outreach, industry networking, and relationships.
  • Navigate complex decision-making hierarchies within client organizations.
  • Qualify, pitch, and close multi-million dollar event programs.
  • Manage full-cycle ownership from initial contact to contract negotiation.
  • Build personal and professional bonds with top-tier meeting planners and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 30% to build relationships, attend events, and close deals in person.
