Requirements
- 5+ years of Event Industry experience, preferably agency-side.
- Proven track record of building a book of business from the ground up.
- History of managing $10M+ in lifetime event revenue.
- Established, high-level relationships within Pharma, FinServ, Tech, and Consulting sectors.
- Strategic acumen to map client business goals to technical production reality.
- Strong grit and initiative to perform in a pure business development role.
- Ability to navigate complex decision-making hierarchies.
Responsibilities
- Aggressively expand event production footprint within Fortune 5000 companies.
- Target and secure $1M+ opportunities with brands that have multiple events throughout the year.
- Build pipeline through strategic outreach, industry networking, and relationships.
- Navigate complex decision-making hierarchies within client organizations.
- Qualify, pitch, and close multi-million dollar event programs.
- Manage full-cycle ownership from initial contact to contract negotiation.
- Build personal and professional bonds with top-tier meeting planners and C-suite stakeholders.
- Travel up to 30% to build relationships, attend events, and close deals in person.
