Requirements
- BS/BA degree required, MBA preferred
- 3-10+ years of progressive origination experience
- Deep understanding of US utility-scale solar and energy storage markets
- Experience in ERCOT, MISO, PJM, and/or SERC preferred
- Proven experience negotiating and closing PPAs/VPPAs
- Experience in customer presentations and executive communication
- Existing customer relationships with corporates and utilities
- Understanding of power marketing, Hub settlement structures, and IRA tax credits
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and financial modeling for renewables
Responsibilities
- Lead deals and opportunities from start to finish
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with corporate and utility customers
- Define and execute market-specific growth strategy
- Prepare RFP and bi-lateral proposals for solar and energy storage projects
- Negotiate term sheets, MOUs, and power purchase agreements
- Manage vendors and project budgets through SAP
- Maintain knowledge of project development including land, permitting, and interconnection
