Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced expertise of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of cost structures, standard costing, and inventory accounting concepts.
- Manufacturing cost expertise including variance analysis and working-capital optimization.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of FP&A processes at portfolio companies, aligning reporting cadences with production and S&OP cycles.
- Assist in building operating and cash flow models, incorporating key elements like SKU/margin waterfalls, standard costing, labor absorption, and capex planning.
- Translate strategic plans into annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Contribute to the design of dashboards and scorecards that link operational metrics to financial outcomes.
- Help refine cost accounting processes including BOM/routing integrity, labor efficiency, overhead rates, and SKU/channel profitability.
- Participate in 13-week cash flow forecasting and support liquidity planning.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to integrate demand, supply, and capacity plans into financial forecasts.
- Work with data and systems teams to improve analytical tools.
- Contribute to developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions for clients.
