Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or employee benefits analytics within insurance, consulting, or healthcare environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools for data modeling and reporting.
  • Experience working with group insurance products such as medical, dental, pharmacy, life, and disability coverage is highly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with databases or healthcare analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze employee benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for plan optimization and cost mitigation.
  • Develop financial models, illustrations, and analytical tools to support client benefit strategy and decision-making.
  • Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs.
  • Produce recurring client deliverables, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and utilization reports.
  • Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to interpret utilization data and recommend plan design improvements.
  • Design and maintain reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical frameworks to streamline data interpretation.
  • Document analytical methodologies and maintain clear records of processes and outputs for internal and client use.
  • Support mentorship and training of junior analysts while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
