Requirements

  • 5–10 years of B2B sales experience in construction, mission critical, data center, or related technical sales environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding territory-based sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of project-based, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Ability to manage a geographic territory independently with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent technical selling, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Experience engaging with engineers, architects, contractors, and end users in complex sales environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence early-stage project design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a defined geographic territory to achieve revenue growth, profitability targets, and long-term market expansion.
  • Build and maintain a strong project pipeline within data center, containment, and mission critical construction markets.
  • Identify, pursue, influence, and close project-based opportunities across multiple channels, including contractors, integrators, engineers, architects, and owners.
  • Drive specification positioning by engaging early in the design phase and securing product inclusion in project plans.
  • Track projects through their full lifecycle, from early concept through installation and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the construction and data center ecosystem.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and partners.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and field feedback to internal product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
