Requirements
- 3+ years of IT support experience in an MSP environment.
- Experience with the Autotask dispatch portal.
- Previous experience in client service or phone-related roles.
- Familiarity with computer system support terminology.
- Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills including active listening.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.
- Technical awareness for matching resources to issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong typing skills for accurate request entry.
Responsibilities
- Pre-process service requests from email, manual entry, or client input.
- Act as the single point of contact for all service requests.
- Categorize tickets by priority, urgency, and complexity.
- Coordinate IT support groups to ensure resource utilization.
- Schedule internal and onsite resources using Autotask.
- Monitor resource schedules for prompt time entry.
- Communicate status updates and changes to clients.
- Document issue details, troubleshooting, and client interactions.
- Escalate service requests exceeding SLAs.
- Identify recurring issues for the Service Desk Manager.
