Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in selling software implementation services, SaaS solutions, or professional services to large clients
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex, consultative sales environments
- Experience working with state and local government or public sector clients strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of cloud, SaaS, and ERP ecosystems, particularly Workday or similar platforms
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with consultative selling methodologies and complex deal management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, delivery, and commercial teams
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business applications
- Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% for client and partner engagement
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for Workday implementation and professional services within the public sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Workday field teams, account executives, and business development managers
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through to deal closure
- Develop and maintain a strong 3x pipeline coverage against assigned sales quotas
- Engage directly with clients and prospects to position services and understand their transformation needs
- Lead responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring high-quality, competitive proposals
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to define scope, estimate effort, and shape winning solutions
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and pipeline reporting for leadership visibility
- Coordinate with marketing teams to support campaigns, events, and regional market initiatives
- Drive consistent deal strategy execution across multiple concurrent opportunities
