Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in animal health sales, pharmaceutical sales, biotechnology, or related commercial roles.
- University degree in Science, Business, or a related field (postgraduate qualification is an asset).
- Proven track record in strategic account management, business development, or complex B2B sales environments.
- Strong understanding of the veterinary pharmaceutical or animal health industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and financial acumen with experience in contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow strategic customer relationships within assigned veterinary and animal health accounts.
- Achieve sales targets, revenue objectives, and profitability goals across designated strategic accounts.
- Create and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with business and client objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts while expanding into new client relationships.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify risks, opportunities, and growth areas.
- Lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and account planning processes.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure alignment with service and quality standards.
- Represent the organization at industry events and support broader commercial initiatives when required.
