Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of five years of electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of single/three phase power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC), Life Safety, and Energy Conservation Codes
- Proficiency in short circuit coordination, arc flash studies, and equipment sizing
- Skilled at using AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to analyze and perform code analysis
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies for workflow optimization
- Ability to work independently or under limited supervision
Responsibilities
- Independently perform intermediate to advanced electrical engineering design tasks
- Perform complex computations and analysis for electrical systems
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and visual aids
- Review and write sequence of operations
- Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports of findings
- Prepare project design and construction documents
- Lead construction administration including submittal and RFI review
- Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders
- Update and maintain shop drawing and RFI logs
