Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
- 2 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in industrial, water/wastewater, federal, or power generation sectors
- Understanding of developing engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, or Easypower
- Proficiency in AGI or Visual Lighting Software
- FE or PE certification depending on experience level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage other discipline engineers and perform electrical work on a variety of projects
- Conduct electrical system analysis including load flow, short circuit, coordination and arc flash studies
- Engineer microgrid (distributed generation), battery storage energy systems, and photovoltaic electrical systems
- Design electrical systems in accordance with the NEC
- Provide power to medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, mechanical building systems, and lighting systems
- Perform project field site visits
- Assist in sizing, selecting, and specifying electrical equipment and coordinating information with vendors
