Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven professional experience managing complex partner accounts, client portfolios, or B2B business relationships.
  • Understanding of NPR’s role as a journalism institution and the public radio system.
  • Awareness and basic working knowledge of broadcast and media landscape.
  • Extensive experience documenting information and organizing data in Salesforce.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the relationships and value proposition for the NPR Member organizations in an assigned portfolio.
  • Generate new leads and assess opportunities for placement of NPR programs on station platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of core strategic marketing messages about NPR content and services.
  • Achieve program revenue, program carriage, and digital product revenue goals.
  • Gather financial information, negotiate fees, and operationalize onboarding workflows.
  • Process and deliver legal agreements and discuss license compliance with station partners.
  • Maintain station relationship data in Salesforce and present status reports to leadership.
  • Represent NPR in-person at industry conferences and meetings as required.
