Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development, commercial strategy, and marketing in a related industry.
  • Previous experience in engineering consulting is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead high-value negotiations and build long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in establishing and managing strategy partnerships with key industry players.
  • High proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive).
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing utility and OEM clients.
  • Cross-sell the full portfolio of products and services.
  • Proactively identify and engage with new potential target clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand the customer base.
  • Manage client relationships, track sales pipelines, and generate insights using CRM tools.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop business cases for new services and offerings.
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
