Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development, commercial strategy, and marketing in a related industry.
- Previous experience in engineering consulting is an asset.
- Proven ability to lead high-value negotiations and build long-term partnerships.
- Experience in establishing and managing strategy partnerships with key industry players.
- High proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing utility and OEM clients.
- Cross-sell the full portfolio of products and services.
- Proactively identify and engage with new potential target clients.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand the customer base.
- Manage client relationships, track sales pipelines, and generate insights using CRM tools.
- Lead the coordination and execution of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Develop business cases for new services and offerings.
- Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
