Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience with inventory and supply chain management for complex global clinical trials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel-based modeling and SaaS forecasting tools.
- Experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Proven experience in third-party vendor selection and management.
- Knowledge of import/export requirements and international clinical supply.
- Understanding of ICH, CFR, EMA GMP, and GDP guidelines.
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestic and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical supply strategies to meet study timelines.
- Prepare demand forecasts using simulation and forecasting tools.
- Partner with Clinical Operations to determine demand assumptions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to develop drug product delivery schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships for distribution centers, packaging, and couriers.
- Conduct supply chain risk assessments to identify and mitigate disruptions.
- Maintain inventory systems and coordinate resupply efforts.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, ICH, and GMP/GDP standards.
- Lead and mentor clinical supply chain professionals.
- Manage program budgets and cross-functional team collaborations.
