Requirements

  • Prior sales management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years automotive industry experience preferred
  • Must have own vehicle with a good driving record
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team motivation abilities
  • Customer service focus with excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of developing sales results in an assigned territory
  • Organized approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by acquiring new business and cultivating customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategy for same-store sales revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior-level personnel at customer accounts.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a productive sales team.
  • Ensure profitable sales revenue growth through planning and team management.
  • Conduct financial reviews with executive ownership of dealership groups.
  • Utilize CRM to track sales leads and customer interactions.
  • Manage distribution channels and coordinate with other Regional/Division Sales Directors.
  • Manage and track customer projects from start to finish.
  • Attend state automotive events to promote product lines.
