Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–4 years of professional business analysis or systems-analysis experience supporting software or IT delivery
- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and document functional and business requirements
- Experience translating high-level needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience validating delivered functionality against requirements (acceptance / user-acceptance testing)
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
Responsibilities
- Interpret business and mission requirements accurately and translate them into clear, validated, unambiguous functional requirements
- Decompose high-level needs into actionable, developer-ready work—user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed functional specifications
- Provide continuous functional support to the development team throughout each sprint
- Serve as the functional bridge between stakeholders, users, and developers
- Validate delivered functionality against requirements and mission needs
- Formulate and refine systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's mission plan
- Capture and maintain requirements traceability and documentation
- Facilitate requirements elicitation and refinement sessions
