Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required (College degree preferred).
- 2 or more years of experience in mid-size brokerage or carrier.
- Active P&C License.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Agency Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Property Casualty lines of coverage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests and other items.
- Assist clients with policy coverage, exclusions and related questions.
- Service client accounts with research, analysis and handling of client questions.
- Conduct renewal process including exposure analysis, marketing, and premium negotiation.
- Support Producers with proposals and participation in prospective client meetings.
- Maintain client files and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
- Inform and educate clients about policy coverage and changes.
- Collaborate with Sales Team on strategy, pricing, and marketing determination.
- Negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers.
