- 2+ years of experience in a law firm and/or technology company (corporate and/or transactional focus preferred).
- J.D. from a well-regarded law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one state.
- Knowledgeable about software and technology.
- Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Eager to learn and grow as an in-house lawyer.
Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate governance and transactional matters (Board/committee resolutions, structure, capital tables).
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and vendors.
- Update public-facing terms of service and policies.
- Advise product and engineering teams on privacy, data security, IP, and AI legal issues.
- Support employment matters and maintain form agreements (offer letters, commission plans).
- Drive preparation and implementation of legal forms and scalable processes.
- Stay informed on applicable laws and industry guidance.
- Support legal team on IP, litigation, and other subject areas.
