Requirements
- Strong background in financial or accounting roles.
- Business degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
- Hands-on experience advising under-capitalized small business owners.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts in plain English.
- Direct experience in FP&A, budget creation, and financial forecasting.
- Expertise in reviewing financial systems for data completeness and integrity.
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence to coach and challenge clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-structured entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency with financial software for reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a fractional C-Suite financial advisor to up to 30 small law firm clients.
- Conduct three meetings per month with each assigned client to review financials and strategy.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify operational problems and growth opportunities.
- Educate and coach clients on financial literacy and sound decision-making.
- Oversee financial controls and data integrity within client systems.
- Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Hold clients accountable for achieving agreed-upon business results.
- Participate in team meetings and advisor sessions to align on strategy.
