Requirements
- 5–10 years professional experience in applied Machine Learning.
- Exceptional programming proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Scala, Java, or similar backend languages.
- Deep mastery of ML fundamentals like A/B testing and training/serving skew mitigation.
- Experience with gradient boosted trees, neural networks, and transformers.
- Hands-on expertise with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience leading data engineering efforts for ML pipelines.
- Strong command of architectural patterns for high-scale applications.
- Disciplined approach to software craft, including TDD and CI/CD.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy ML models to extract signals from large-scale datasets.
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines.
- Apply entity resolution and matching techniques using embedding models and transformers.
- Collaborate with crawling infrastructure and data engineering teams.
- Execute offline and online experiments to evaluate model quality.
- Align ML outputs with Pricing and Supply Growth strategy goals.
