Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, software engineering, data engineering, or cloud engineering roles
- Hands-on experience building production-oriented AI applications beyond experimentation
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and AI evaluation methods
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD, containers, and observability tools
- Proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices (testing, modular design, version control)
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical approaches and tradeoffs
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience applying AI tools to improve development productivity and workflow efficiency
Responsibilities
- Build scalable AI proof-of-concepts using modern ML and generative AI techniques, ensuring readiness for production transition
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical AI solutions with measurable impact
- Design and implement AI systems leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and agent-based workflows
- Evaluate feasibility and risk across data readiness, integration complexity, cost, security, performance, and usability
- Develop reusable engineering assets including reference architectures, components, documentation, and technical decision records
- Establish and promote strong engineering practices while mentoring peers and contributing to team-wide technical excellence
