- 8+ years with Bachelor's, 10+ years with Associate's, or 12+ years equivalent
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience OR an Associate's Degree with 10+ years OR 12+ years of equivalent IT experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance principles.
- Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitivity labeling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with risk assessments and audits.
- Ability to develop and implement security and compliance policies.
- Familiarity with PowerShell is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies, including data classification, labeling, and DLP policies.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and integrated Microsoft 365 services.
- Administer and manage role groups, custom roles, and permissions within the Purview portal.
- Mitigate risks by protecting sensitive data from internal and external threats.
- Implement information protection and insider risk management solutions.
- Respond to data protection incidents and participate in security investigations.
- Manage and support eDiscovery workflows, including data collection, search, and export.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce governance best practices.
