Requirements
- 1–3 years in a DBA or Database Support role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer
- Understanding of AWS core services (RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- Proficiency in T-SQL
- Exposure to Python and PowerShell for automation
- Understanding of ACID properties, indexing, and backup/restore strategies
- Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Manage AWS RDS instances by monitoring database health and performance.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production incidents.
- Execute quarterly patching, monthly index reviews, and backup integrity testing.
- Assist teams with query optimization and T-SQL development.
- Develop automation tools using Python and PowerShell.
- Manage user permissions and ensure HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC2 compliance.
