Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English fluency and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role with people management experience
- Working knowledge of long term Medicaid, including application processing and LTC eligibility rules
- Ability to analyze financial data using spreadsheet calculations
- Proficient in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Proficient in PDF editing software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat)
- Demonstrated ability to understand financial assets (IRA’s, life insurance, annuities, trusts)
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience with file and document management
Responsibilities
- Directly oversee a team of 3-4 people including interviewing and hiring
- Assess and develop employees through continuous training and mentoring
- Ensure efficient management of the team and client caseload
- Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews and address disciplinary issues
- Research federal and state Medicaid LTC regulations & eligibility guidelines
- Evaluate cases to facilitate customized eligibility planning strategies
- Serve as adviser on case issues and resolve escalated client issues
- Hold regular team and individual meetings
- Validate biweekly time cards within RIPPLING
- Utilize tracking systems to report data-driven progress towards goals
