Job Details

Experience: At a minimum, 1 year of post residency acute care adult hospital experience in a US hospital within the past 5 years

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Active unrestricted medical license in at least one US state
Specialization in Adult Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Nephrology, General Surgery or Infectious Disease
Minimum 1 year of post residency acute care adult hospital experience in a US hospital within the past 5 years or recent relevant physician advisor experience
Working knowledge of hospital EMR
Computer proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate hospitalizations across the country
Perform concurrent clinical case reviews
Provide recommendations on admission status
Identify salient points within a case review
Perform focused real-time and post-discharge case reviews in the hospital’s EMR
Identify areas of process improvements and inefficiencies
Interact with attending physicians at client hospitals via secure messaging, text, and phone calls
