Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, software development or equivalent
  • Experience developing software applications
  • Experience with unit and functional test practices
  • Experience with end-to-end feature development and building complex systems
  • Experience in HL7 (V2, FHIR) is an asset
  • Experience with Hibernate is an asset
  • Experience with Spring is an asset
  • Experience with REST web services is an asset
  • Experience with Git is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and evaluating requirements and proposing high level design and technical solutions
  • Analyzing solutions for interoperability, performance, and maintainability
  • Working with Tier 1 support team to diagnose and correct customer incidents
  • Collaborating with coredev and client solutions teams
  • Mentoring Tier 1 Service Desk staff and other developers
  • Participating in major incident response teams
  • Maintaining relevant documentation and frameworks
  • Researching new technologies for existing and new modules
  • Breaking down work for team members and serving as project point of contact
