Requirements
- Strong software engineering background.
- Proficiency in Python and Go.
- Experience working on low-level systems.
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming and concurrency models.
- Strong expertise in Linux systems and internals (process management, networking, containers, file systems).
- Production experience with containerization technologies (Docker, OCI images, LXC).
- In-depth knowledge of Git protocol.
- Comfort debugging complex systems using traces and logs.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLM APIs.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain low-level orchestration components for the cloud platform.
- Modernize the base orchestration layer from Python to Go.
- Improve and maintain the orchestration engine and git interface.
- Work on product or internal features such as reducing dependencies or improving telemetry.
- Extend the testing suite and release system components.
- Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams on container orchestration solutions.
- Build backwards-compatible solutions to complex problems.
- Optimize services and troubleshoot failed deployments.
- Improve automation, testing, and deployment processes.
