- 5+ years total (3+ years at AmLaw 100 firm and 2+ years in-house)
Requirements
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3 or more years of experience at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- 2 or more years of in-house experience at a high-growth startup or public tech company.
- Deep expertise in staffing models, contingent workforce arrangements, and EOR/AOR structures.
- Ability to draft, negotiate, and manage high-volume customer and vendor agreements.
- Strong communication skills for influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfort using AI tools to draft and review legal materials.
Responsibilities
- Lead the review, negotiation, and strategic management of staffing and contingent workforce agreements.
- Manage a wide range of complex commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and SOWs.
- Provide counsel on employment law, worker classification, co-employment, and compliance.
- Advise senior leaders on legal guidance that aligns business goals with risk posture.
- Design and implement scalable contract templates, playbooks, and escalation policies.
- Collaborate with RevOps, Sourcing, and InfoSec to support forecasting and enablement.
- Support ad hoc legal analysis and corporate transactions.
