Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in retail commercial energy (procurement of electricity or natural gas).
- 3+ years of experience managing a B2B sales team, preferably in the energy sector.
- Experience working within energy markets such as NYISO, ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, or similar.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to provide actionable insights and strategies to improve team performance.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex energy solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in fostering a collaborative, positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource for the Energy Advisors, providing strategic insight, guidance, and support.
- Lead, mentor, and support the Energy Advisors to drive sales performance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the team.
- Track, evaluate, and improve sales performance using CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Act as an escalation point for complex client interactions and participate in key client calls.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to the internal team.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and new products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes collaboration and accountability.
