Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working at the intersection of development and operations.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes across cloud providers or on-prem.
- Professional experience with Argo CD, including ApplicationSets and multi-cluster management.
- Software engineering skills in Go, Rust, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps principles.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to engineers and stakeholders.
- Customer-first mindset with experience building trusted advisor relationships.
- Proactive, systems-thinking approach.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical discovery process, uncovering customer pain points, requirements, and key business objectives to align Akuity's solutions to their needs.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, architecture walkthroughs, and live demos that showcase Akuity's platform and GitOps best practices.
- Deliver outstanding technical support to open-source users and enterprise customers across multiple channels including chat, GitHub, forums, and calls.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex customer issues involving Kubernetes, Argo CD, and the Akuity Platform.
- Recognize patterns in customer issues and proactively contribute to our support playbook, documentation, and internal knowledge base.
- Develop tooling, integrations, and automation that improve the customer experience and extend the capabilities of the Akuity Platform.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Sales to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
- Represent Akuity at conferences, webinars, and community events.
