Requirements
- 10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- 3+ years in a senior IC or tech lead role.
- 2+ years directly managing engineers.
- Recent hands-on work within 12 to 18 months in Terraform and AWS.
- Deep expertise in AWS services including VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Production-level experience with Terraform modules and state management.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana.
- Experience standing up SRE practices including on-call and postmortems.
- Experience in HIPAA, PCI, or SOC 2 Type II regulated environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Converge all AWS resources to Terraform and eliminate manual provisioning.
- Define and operate SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for production systems.
- Design and implement a tested disaster recovery strategy aligned with HIPAA/HITRUST.
- Translate security policies into enforced infrastructure controls like IAM and encryption.
- Fix email domain infrastructure (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and resolve deliverability issues.
- Build test, staging, and ephemeral environments for developer experience.
- Hire, develop, and retain the Infrastructure & SRE team.
