Requirements
- Formal training in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in a quantitative field preferred.
- 4+ years hands-on experience in healthcare data analysis (HEOR, medical device, pharma, or biotech).
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python.
- Strong understanding of data manipulation, regression analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with healthcare databases and coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
- Experience/knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid data preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large healthcare datasets using statistical and data analysis techniques, including medical claims/encounter data, pharmacy, and patient registries.
- Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to assess healthcare utilization patterns, treatment effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal team and external client to design and execute HEOR studies.
- Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Support business growth through development of client relationships.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and methodologies in HEOR and healthcare data analytics.
- Adhere to data privacy and regulatory guidelines.
