Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience or 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Section 508 Compliance and creating accessible PDFs.
  • Experience using JAWS for accessibility testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Atlassian Confluence, and Jira.
  • Experience with flow chart tools like Lucidchart or Visio.
  • Background in Agile software development environments.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
  • Residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, finalize, and maintain project documentation including system requirements, security plans, and user guides.
  • Ensure accuracy of document versioning within designated repositories.
  • Act as a meeting scribe to record decisions, questions, and action items.
  • Manage Confluence pages, including implementing macros and site permissions.
  • Test and remediate documentation for Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 compliance.
  • Assist with team onboarding/offboarding and project administrative duties.
  • Support program data analysis activities and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop training materials in various formats based on project documentation.
