Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience or 6 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Section 508 Compliance and creating accessible PDFs.
- Experience using JAWS for accessibility testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Atlassian Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience with flow chart tools like Lucidchart or Visio.
- Background in Agile software development environments.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
- Residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review, edit, finalize, and maintain project documentation including system requirements, security plans, and user guides.
- Ensure accuracy of document versioning within designated repositories.
- Act as a meeting scribe to record decisions, questions, and action items.
- Manage Confluence pages, including implementing macros and site permissions.
- Test and remediate documentation for Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 compliance.
- Assist with team onboarding/offboarding and project administrative duties.
- Support program data analysis activities and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop training materials in various formats based on project documentation.
